Here is a two part presentation by Fr. Robert Barron, priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit and founder of The Catholicism Project. In these videos he explains modern impediments to embracing Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular. Part 1 covers 'scientism' (the belief that science explains everything) and 'angelism' (the belief that if the Church were authentic everyone inside the Church would be perfect). Part 2 discusses fundamentalist versus Catholic methods of interpretation of Sacred Scripture and how, in the popular mind, they are conflated.More videos by Fr.
